Allen and his lovely wife Alice have been married since 1967 and have a relationship with each other and with the Lord that exemplifies what a Christian marriage can and should be. Together they started two Christian schools (pre-K to 12th grades)

He is the author of The Master's Call. Published in 2002 this book documents the amazing events surrounding his being miraculously saved by the Lord when hit by a speeding semi-truck while he and Alice were living as a missionaries in the bush in Central America.

He is currently writing a new book, "The Schemes of the Devil: And the Triumph of Christ Jesus". Allen is also writing an ongoing book that is now “published” and available on the Internet called, The Breakfast of Champions.

Allen and Alice have criss-crossed the United States, traveled through Latin America and the Caribbean, and spent time in many other countries on 5 continents preaching and teaching the Word of God. He has an ability to minister the Word in a down-to-earth, easy to understand manner that, while often quite humorous, is always powerful and has tremendous impact. The Lord has used Allen in a unique way ministering in churches of more than a dozen denominations.

Allen has written a number of songs which he and Alice sing on their CD, The Rising of the Sun. All of the songs were written while praying. Allen says that he is not a songwriter, just a pray-er!

In the late 1970’s Allen did graduate studies in Old Testament and Sacramental Theology in a New York main-line denominational seminary in which his grades placed him first in his class. The Lord protected him!

Allen was born and raised in New York City (mid-town Manhattan) and its suburbs. He flew as an aircrewman in the U.S. Navy for four years in the early and mid ’60's. He has lived on Park Avenue in Manhattan, near the Arctic Circle in Iceland, in a 40 room mansion on Long Island Sound, and in the jungle in Central America where there was no running water or electricity. He has had his life threatened on more than one occasion and on more than one continent for preaching the Word and has had criminal charges filed against him for conducting Bible studies in his home.
