Alice was born in New York City hospital in 1947. Raised a Roman Catholic she was educated in Catholic elementary schools and two years in a Catholic high school as well as two years in a public high school from which she graduated in 1964.

She met her husband, Allen McDaniel, two years after she graduated. He was flying in the Navy and was stationed overseas at the time. Flying into New York for a ‘RON’ (one night stay) Allen met Alice through a friend and told his mother that very night that he met the girl he was going to marry.

True to his word, they married two years later in 1967 after a very sporadic courtship. Though neither knew the Lord at the time they told everybody that they knew without doubt that God had put them together.

They spent the next 9 years in the world, unbeknownst to them, being groomed by God. They were never really settled in one place too long before moving on to another location and adventure. All of this was a precursor to the missionary life that God had planned for them.

In August, 1976 Alice turned her life and her heart over to the Lord after hearing a friend say to her “all you have to do is give your heart to Jesus,” but not really understanding what that fully meant. What she experienced at that moment was joy that was unspeakable. However, it wasn’t until a year later that she experienced the fullness of God’s love at a Catholic Charismatic Prayer meeting.

Right after being saved she prayed for a job and was rehired by the NY Telephone Company in a brand new program they had just started hiring back previous employees called “retreads.” Her time in the company brought many exciting adventures as God used her to spread His Word to the lost and encourage many to turn to the Lord.

After six years God moved her on to work full time in ministry with her husband Allen and she has been working and ministering by his side for the past 27 years.

Though they have no children of their own, Alice’s love of—and ministry to—children has been evident for decades. She and Allen started two Christian schools in the U.S. where she taught Kindergarten and the First Grade. She saw God in action daily in the lives of those children.

Alice brings over thirty years of solid ministry and business experience to the work of BibleTalk. Her enthusiasm and love for Jesus and unwavering trust in the Lord has blessed us all.
